How to cool a hot room, cut glare and protect your floors without replacing your windows

If one room in your house is too hot every afternoon, or the sun keeps you from sitting on your own couch, you may not need new windows or heavier blinds. Window film goes on your existing glass and can cut heat and glare while keeping your view.
The problems we see most
Hot rooms: west and south facing rooms, sunrooms and big window walls can stay warm long after the rest of the house cools down. Glare: bright sun on a TV or computer screen makes a room hard to use. Fading: UV exposure can wear on floors, furniture and artwork over time. Privacy: street facing windows can leave a room feeling exposed during the day.
What kind of film do you need?
We install XPEL Vision films, which come in four lines. Solar film handles heat, glare and UV. Security and safety film is made for glass strength and protection. Decorative film adds privacy or a frosted look on a bathroom or door. Specialty film covers everything else. A lot of the homeowners we talk to want heat and UV protection, and that is where solar film comes in.
Will it make my home look dark?
Not unless you want it to. Film comes in different shades, and you can choose a lighter one that keeps a room bright. The best way to decide is to see samples in person, and we are happy to show them to you.
